My name is Sinet, I am 22 years old and I am finishing my pharmacy studies in Phnom Penh. When I was young, my parents often said to me that they didn’t have any money or land to give me and that education was my only hope.

The school was far from home and the road was poor, it’s never-ending: in summer there was a lot of dust, and in the rainy season a lot of mud.

Today, I am in the third year at the prestigious Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in Phnom Penh where I am studying for my engineering degree.
